This is Michael Jordan’s story, or more accurately, “not” Michael Jordan’s story. The “not” Michael Jordan is a 40-year-old iHeartMedia Regional Senior Vice President based in Lexington, KY, who describes himself on social media as “An ordinary man with a legendary name”. The “not” Michael Jordan, did, in fact, cross paths with the NBA Hall of Famer. They were both staying at the same hotel in Las Vegas, and the “not” Michael Jordan kept having calls to his room checking reservations. About a month later, the real Michael Jordan returned to the same hotel, and the front desk made a big mistake.
The front desk swapped the wrong Jordan credit card. The “not” Michael Jordan had the credit card provider calling and authorizing these large transactions on a Sunday morning. They were attempting to drive in six-figure charges. According to sources, the Chicago Bulls legend was out on another golf retreat, but the “not” Michael Jordan in Kentucky was picking up the tab. Further, the card was quickly canceled.
